Ms. Shereen Shaheen
In her current capacity, Shereen is the North Africa Lead for Public Affairs and Sustainability for The Coca-Cola Company, based in Egypt. In her career, she led various government relations and strategic communications programs, while specializing in policy and legislative strategy relating to FMCG, Technology, Telecom, Oil and Gas, International organizations and NGOs. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, her last assignment was the Regional Corporate Affairs & Public policy Head for North Africa, Pakistan, Levant & Egypt for Microsoft. In her 20 years of experience, she has led several roles including in Vodafone where she was head of the Strategic business communication and change management for 5 years. She was also the Head of Corporate & Brand Communication and Public Policy, MENA, at PepsiCo for 9 years which resulted in building the first world-class award-winning sustainability & public policy strategy for PepsiCo Egypt and the region. During her time at the World Bank as a Communication and Public Policy Officer, Shereen gained experience in legislative policy and strategy and produced numerous legislative achievements with various regulators. She serves in various boards and associations in Egypt including AmCham, Federation of Industries, and the Junior Business Association. Shereen’s passions include leading sustainability and government affairs visioning and planning, creating highly functional work groups and project management with a focus on efficient business models and sustainable solutions. Her projects powerfully serve the impacts of Corporations in Public policy, SDG sustainability programs in waste management and agriculture, job creation, leadership change management and positive strengths-based models and value cultures. Shereen is an energetic and engaging certified executive coach, trainer facilitator and is fluent in 3 languages.
