Dr. El Sayed Torky
Dr. El Sayed Torky holds a Ph.D. in business law from Faculty of law, Cairo University. He holds a Master degree in International Business Law from the Institute of International Business Law, Cairo University /Paris 10 University. He is National coordinator for employers’ organizations at the Export Project – International Labor Organization Cairo Office since October 2012. Dr. Torky was advisor to the Minister of Investment for Corporate Social Responsibility and Managing Director of the Egyptian Corporate Responsibility Center from 2009 till 2012. He was advisor to the Egyptian Minster of Investment for international relations from November 2004 till December 2009. Dr. Torky was the co-chair of the MENA-OECD Responsible Business Conduct Forum from December 2009 till December 2011. Dr. Torky was Senior Regional Advisor to the OECD from October 2006 till February 2010. He was the advisor for International Relations to the Director General of the Arab Labor Organization from March 2008 till March 2009. Dr. Torky was a Board member of the French University in Cairo from Sept. 2007 till August 2008. He was a professor of law at the French University in Cairo from Jan. 2005 till August 2008. Dr. Torky was a Member of the "National French Committee for the Protection of Intellectual Propriety Rights" – French Ministry of Finance from June 2004 till December 2004. He was the Representative of the “French Agency for International Investments" in Egypt from January 2002 till December 2004. Dr. Torky was the Legal Attaché of the French Embassy in Egypt from February 1996 till November 2004. He was the legal adviser of the Export Credit Guarantee Company of Egypt from Nov. 1994 till Jan. 1996 and corporate lawyer from June 1992 till Oct. 1994.
